The Honourable Minister of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs,Senator Dr. George Akume,fnim sends his warm felicitations to the Commissioner, representing Benue State in the Federal Character Commission, Chief Silas Ikpah on the occasion of his 75th birthday,22nd January, 2021.
 
Senator George Akume joins family members,colleagues, associates, friends and well wishers of Chief Silas Ikpah in celebrating his life at 75,while describing the celebrant as an illustrious son of Tiv nation whose contributions and sacrifices to the build up of the current democratic process and governance in Benue and Nigeria stands tall in the political history and development of the nation.
 
Senator George Akume extols the humanitarian characters of Chief Silas Ikpah as a man with profound humility,compassion and kindness which have endeared him to the services of Rotary International,with vast contributions and support to uplifting the status of the less privileged, the poor and the physically challenged globally.
 
As a devout Christian of the NKST Order, Senator George Akume describes Chief Silas Ikpah as a man whose background of uprightness, honesty, altruism and practice of the teachings of Christ have remained uncompromising virtues in his lifestyle.
 
Senator George Akume prays that will grant the Elderstatesman, Chief Silas Ikpah longer life, prosperity, good health and strength to carry on with his service to the nation.
