The events at the occasion included the public presentation of the scorecard of the Federal Ministry of Education under the second term of President Muhammadu Buhari Administration, with a retrospective bearing on the first term of the administration from 2015-2019,by the Honourable Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu.

Mallam Adamu Adamu further assured Nigerians that the present administration is determined to completing all ongoing educational projects initiated by President Muhammadu Buhari before his tenure elapses in 2023.

 

In his goodwill message at the occasion ,the Honourable Minister of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs, Senator Dr. George Akume,fnim commended the Federal Ministry of Education for putting together the year 2020 Annual Press briefing and applauded the major strides so far by the Ministry made in line with the change agenda policy on educational advancement of the country by the Buhari Administration . Senator George Akume on behalf of the good people of Benue State particularly expressed appreciations to Mr. President for attracting series of educational institutions to Benue State. The Honourable Minister gave assurances that the visionary and pragmatic disposition of Mr. President to sincerely lift over 100 million Nigerians out of poverty through the education sector will not be in vain.

 

The press briefing which took place at the Conference Hall of the Federal Ministry of Education had in attendance other members of the Federal Executive Council,which included;the Ministers of the Federal Capital Territory(State),Health (State),Education(State),Minister of Information,that of Environment among,others.
