The Honourable Minister of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs Senator Dr. George Akume,fnim extends felicitations to Air Vice Marshall Isiaka Oladayo Amao on his appointment and assumption of responsibilities as the Chief of Air Staff.
 
Senator George Akume describes the appointment of Air Vice Marshall Isiaka Amao by President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Federal Republic of Nigeria as well deserved and in recognition of his functional credibility and outstanding career in the Nigerian Airforce. As the Air Officer Commanding Tactical Air Command, Makurdi, Senator George Akume extols the patriotic and professional commitment of Air Vice Marshall Isiaka Amao to the service system,organization and objectives of the Nigerian Airforce.
 
The Honourable Minister counts on the diligence, discipline,dedication and professionalism of Air Vice Marshall Amao as core values and cardinal yardsticks that will optimistically enable him build on the success stories of his predecessors and to reposition the Nigerian Airforce for greater heights.
 
The Honourable Minister commends President Muhammadu Buhari,GCFR for providing every necessary supports to Nigerian Airforce, in terms of human and material resources as a source of inspiration and motivation to service delivery by officers and men of the Nigerian Airforce. This is evident in the successes recorded in the fight against insurgency and armed banditry in Nigeria by the military.
As the Honourable Ministry of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs, Senator George Akume assures the new Chief of Air Staff of his maximum support to enable him succeed.
Senator George Akume prays that God will guide,protect and grant Air Vice Marshall Isiaka Amao more wisdom,strength and courage to carry out his service to the nation.
