SENATOR GEORGE AKUME COMMISERATES WITH THE GOVERNMENT AND PEOPLE OF KADUNA STATE OVER THE PASSING OF EMIR OF ZAZZAU,HRH ALHAJI SHEHU IDRIS

The Honourable Minister of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs, Senator Dr. George Akume, fnim commiserates with the Government and people of Kaduna State over the demise of the Emir of Zazzau,His Royal Highness, Alhaji Shehu Idris at the age of 84.

Senator George Akume extends his sincerest condolences to the royal family and the Zazzau Emirate Council over the death of late Emir who led the people of Zazzau with dedication,wisdom and fear of God.

The Honourable Minister acknowledges that the late Emir stood for justice and fair play, and also adds that the Late Emir showed unprecedented leadership qualities that strengthened the Emirate of Zazzau in unity, stability, love and peace..

Senator George Akume prays the soul of the departed to rest in peace.
