Represented by the Honourable Minister of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs, Senator Dr. George Akume,fnim,President President Buhari joined family members, associates and well wishers of the Unongos in praying for the peaceful repose of the soul of Late Mrs. Victoria Paul Unongo.

The President prayed God to give Wantaregh Paul Unongo and all members of his family the strength and fortitude to bear and overcome the loss of Late Mrs. Unongo, and be consoled that the virtues of love and care for humanity which Late Mrs. Unongo lived for and promoted will forever ever be remembered and appreciated here on earth and beyond.

The President also assured the good people of Benue State of his government commitment to protecting the lives and property of Nigerians and poverty eradication within the possibilities of constitutional responsibilities and mandate. He encouraged the people to continually pray for the country so as to overcome her challenges.
