Drawing from the unrelenting and resilient disposition and commitment of the Federal Government of Nigeria to frontally confront the menace of of COVID -19 in the country, the National Lottery Trust Frund(NLTF), an agency under the Federal Ministry of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs has embarked on the distribution of COVID-19 preventive kits to some select health care institutions in Nigeria.

The kits include infrared thermometers, ARAN RAVA(N-95 face masks) Ambulances),etc.

The benefiting health care institutions in the six geopolitical zones include:

1. Federal Medical Centre,Abuja

2. Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital,Bauchi,Bauchi State

4. Federal Medical Centre, Katsina, Katsina State

5. Kaduna COVID -19 Standing Committee

6. St. John The Baptist Hospital, Gboko-South,Gboko, Benue State

7. University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, Gwagwalada, Abuja

8. University of Port- Harcourt, Port- Harcourt

9. UCH ,CDM, Ibadan

The official commissioning and presentation of the COVID-19 preventive kits and materials to benefiting health care institutions in the country was presided over by Boss Mustapha, the Sectetary to the Government of the Federation who was ably represented at the occasion by the Honourable Minister of Health, Dr. Osagie Enahire,MD,FWACS

The Honourable Minister of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs,Senator George Akume,fnim presided over at the occasion as Guest of Honour.
