The 12th Annual Forum of Laureates of the Nigerian National Order of Merit with the theme “THE MISSING LINKS IN TWENTY YEARS OF DEMOCRACY IN NIGERIA :THINK TANKS AS CATALYSTS FOR DEVELOPMENT” is organized by Governing Board of the Nigerian National Merit Award.

The Independent Corruption Practices and other related offences Commission ( ICPC) has kick started the verification of constituency projects in Benue State on Friday last week.

The Hon. Minister of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs, Senator (Dr) George Akume,earlier today, the 26th of November, 2019 presided over the maiden retreat for staff, development partners and other stakeholders of the Ministry for the effective repositioning and development of a strategic work-plan towards implementation of her mandates and priority projects within the period of 2019-2023.

Yusufu Dauda and the Directors of the Ministry,yesterday,the 22nd of November,2019 embarked on a stock-taking and familiarization tour/visit to some of the agencies and parastatals under the Ministry.

The Hon. Minister of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs, Dr George Akume earlier today,the 19th day of November,2019 attended the National Launch and Flag-Off of the CLEAN NIGERIA THROUGH THE USE OF TOILET CAMPAIGN organized by Federal Ministry of Water Resources.

The Guest Speaker at the event,His Excellency,Vice President Yemi Osinbanjo called on Nigerians to imbibe the culture of use of toilets in the discharge of faeces from the body as an international best practice in the management and maintenance environmental/community health.
