The Hon. Minister of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs, Senator (Dr) George Akume,KSJI, fnim on 3rd December, 2019 joined the Catholic Archdiocese of Abuja in celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the Catholic Television of Nigeria (CTV)

In his remarks,the Hon. Minister commended the Catholic Archdiocese of Abuja for the great initiative in setting up the Catholic Television of Nigeria ten years ago,so as to facilitate the enlightenment and dissemination of Catholic doctrines and Gospels of our Lord and Saviour,Jesus Christ.

Represented at the occasion by his wife,Chief Mrs. Regina Mbavekumtor Akume,JP, the Hon. Minister assured the Catholic Archdiocese Diocese of Abuja and the management of Catholic Television of Nigeria(CTV) of his maximum cooperation and support in fostering the objectives of the Catholic television station in their efforts at evangelising the Catholic faithful, the christian world and humanity in general.

The occasion was co-chaired by His Excellency,King Alfred P. Diete-Spiff,JP,OFR and His Excellency,Gen. Theophilus Y. Danjuma,GCON,FSS,PSC(Rtd)

The Host at the occasion was His Grace,Archbishop Ignatius A. Kaigama,the Archbishop of Abuja.

The Chief Host was His Eminence,John Cardinal Onaiyekan,Archbishop Emeritus of Abuja.

While the Co-Host was His Lordship,Most Rev.(Dr) Anselm Umoren,Auxiliary Bishop,Abuja Archdiocese.
