In his speech,Sheik Dahiru Usman Bauchi who was represented by his children,Sayyadi Nasiru Dahiru Usman Bauchi and Sayyadi Abdullahi Sheik Dahiru described Senator George Akume as an accommodating leader whose love and passion for Muslim brothers,sisters and the Islamic Faith in general truly defines him as a detribalized leader who has stood for religious tolerance,peaceful coexistence,unity and development in Nigeria as a nation.

The Islamic Scholar,Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi on behalf of the The Tijjani Dariya in Nigeria thanked Almighty Allah for the opportunity given to Senator George Akume to serve Nigerians at a most critical time as a Minister when his wealth of experience and achievements as a detribalized State Governor,Senator and now Minister is essentially required to boost and sustain the momentum of Nigeria’s transformative agenda and direction for peace,growth and development to take place under President Muhammadu Buhari’s Administration. The Sheikh offered special prayers to Almighty Allah for the protection of President Muhammadu Buhari,Senator George Akume and all Nigerians while assuring them of God’s mercies and guidance in the line of their duties and services to the nation.

In his response,the Hon.
