SENATOR GEORGE AKUME CONDOLES WITH THE FAMILY AND GOVERNMENT OF BENUE STATE OVER THE DEMISE OF HON. JEROME TOR SHIMBE

The Honourable Minister of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs, Senator Dr. George Akume,fnim extends his heartfelt condolences to the family of Shimbe Wundu Kya of Gwer West Local Government Area and the Benue State Government over the passing of Hon. Jerome Tor Shimbe,who until his death was the Special Adviser to the Benue State Government on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.

The Honourable Minister praised the immense goodwill and love for God exhibited by the deceased who served as a commissioner of education under his tenure as the Executive Governor of Benue State. He added that Hon Jerome Tor Shimbe, who served credibly as a Local Govt Chairman, Commisioner and Special Adviser will be remembered for his great dedication to duty in his assignments.

The Honourable Minister prayed God to grant eternal rest to the deceased and to console those he left behind.
