The group led by The Managing Director of Leadership Newspapers, My Muazu Elazeh made this known, during a courtesy call on the Honourable Minister on Sunday  11th September, 2020.

Mr. Elazeh acknowledged Senator Akume's Commitment and Sacrifices to the Growth and Stability of the All Progressives Congress emphasizing The Minister's role as a major pillar of the Party.

The group also expressed their confidence in the ability of Senator Akume to deliver at his present assignments, thus contributing immensely to The Next Level Agenda of President Muhammadu Buhari as a major player.

According to Mr Muazu Elazeh, “FollowIng the ongoing  innovative and pragmatic initiatives of the Ministry of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs,we are convinced that your landmark efforts will leave no stone unturned in achieving Mr. President’s target of lifting over 100 million Nigerians out of poverty in the next years."

Among other issues, the Managing Director of LEADERSHIP NEWSPAPER stressed that they were in the office of the Honourable Minister to seek avenues of collaboration and partnership with him in order to facilitate the attainment of the goals and objectives Mr. President’s “NEXT LEVEL” government through the Ministry of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs.

The Leadership group also assured the Honourable Minister of maximum cooperation and support in his, and the entire President Buhari administration's activities, geared towards the attainment of TheNext Level Agenda.

Senator George Akume, in appreciation expressed delight for the visit, praising the wonderful interaction he had with the group and also lauded the grpups sincere demonstration of passion and support  for the Buhari administration.

 He encouraged the management of LEADERSHIP NEWSPAPER to always uphold the core principles of ethical journalism by exhibiting responsibility in information dissemination and upholding the  principles, values and obligations of the craft of journalism.

The Honourable Minister who took time to highlight the legacy projects and remarkable development strides of President Muhammadu Buhari so far also assured them of government’s preparedness to meet the set targets of lifting over 100 million  Nigerians out of poverty in the next 10 years.

The Hon. Minister also pointed out the President Muhammafu Buhari's determination to Secure and protect the lives and property of Nigerians, emphasizing that the fight against Terrorism and other National Threats was a serious concern of the Government. He also assured of victory against these threats.

Senator Akume prayed for Gods abundant blessings on the visiting team and urged them not to relent in their prayers and support for President Buhari and his administration.
